Camila Mendes (born 29 June 1994) is an American actress and singer. She is famous for her role as Veronica Lodge on The CW Teen Drama TV series Riverdale. It has been reported that she may have moved sixteen times as a child However, most of her life was in Florida. American Heritage School was where she completed her education. Then she completed her studies at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her zodiac sign is cancer. Camila Mendes was always fond of acting. In 2016, she did her first commercial role for IKEA. Riverdale was a CW Teen Drama series gave her the chance to portray the character Veronica Lodge. The role of silver-tongued sophomore high school student Veronica Lodge earned her a considerable amount of attention. Her first appearance in a film was in 2018 in The New Romantic. She played the part of Morgan. The movie premiered at the SXSW Festival in March in 2018. Then, she was featured in The Perfect Date, a Netflix romantic comedy. The movie also featured Laura Marano and Matt Walsh. In 2020, she was a co-star in the critically acclaimed sci-fi/comedy Palm Springs. This movie where she played the character of Tala which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. In 2018, she portrayed the lead role of Dancer in Maggie Rogers' music video, Give A Little. The same year, she also played Riley in the music video by The Chainsmokers featuring Emily Warren known as Side Effects.
