Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo was nominated for the
Golden Globes in the category of stage, TV, and film actor. She was born in
Dallas, Texas, and living in New Jersey, she graduated with a summa cum Laude
degree from Ohio University. Coyote Ugly was her breakout role. Since then,
she's been featured in films such as Christopher Nolan's "The
Prestige" featuring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said
So" with Diane Keaton and "First Snow", with Guy Pearce,
"Cheaper by the Dozen" films with Steve Martin, "Imagine Me
&"Imagine Me & You" with Lena Heady and Matthew Goode
and the crime thriller "10th & Wolf" with an ensemble cast
including James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. In Rian Johnson's sci fi action
movie "Looper," she starred alongside Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon
Levitt. In television Perabo starred as Annie Walker in all 5 seasons of USA
Network's spy thriller "Covert Affairs." In the following seasons,
Perabo was a star as Annie Walker on USA Network's spy thriller "Covert
Affairs." She can be next seen on Netflix as "Turn Up Charlie"
in which she is starring alongside IdrisElba. In Neil LaBute's controversial
production, "Reasons to be Pretty" Perabo made her Broadway debut.
She was nominated for the Tony for the best play. Perabo is also an activist,
as well as her roles on the stage and screen. Perabo is an International Rescue
Committee Voice to increase awareness and help people who have been forced to
relocate by war, persecution or oppression from the political. Piper lives in
Los Angeles and New York City. She graduated from Toms River (NJ) High School
North class of 1994. She was in every one of the annual musicals in high
school. She was Katie in "Meet Me in St. Louis" her senior year; she
was also Cousin Fan in the musical "Mame" sophomore year, Lady
Brighton and Lady Brighton in "Me and My Girl" freshman year. She was
also the high school president for the National Honor Society as well as the
editor for the school's literary magazine, Polaris. She was also a Marinerettes
dancer during high school football games.
